LIBCO is by no means API stable (nor ABI stable, for that matter).

API WILL CHANGE IN FUTURE WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE. IF YOU AREN'T PREPARED TO
REWRITE YOUR APPLICATION FOR NEW API, DO NOT USE LIBCO YET. YOU HAVE BEEN
WARNED.

API stability will be announced at appropriate places when reached.
