contentTableResize.js
---------------------
(vim: set tw=73:)
This script provides one function contentTableResize() which allows you
to do powerful main content table resizing. This function allows you to
specify maximum width of table. Some pages look on big monitors bad, so
this is how to avoid of that. Set your content table like this:
Attribute id is compulsory. Substitute "*" with zero or more arbitrary
characters. We recommend you to set width to percentage value.
If JavaScript will not work on client side, page will be displayed still
well. Due to percentage, on small monitors it will be still good. And
important is that it will be without horizontal scroll bar.
Than determine maximum size of screen when you page still looks good.
Imagine it is 700. Also determine value of table width which will be set
when screen will overflow its maximum width. Imagine that is is 680. Than
add to your body tag something like this:
Note that you can set these values in this script and call function
without parameters. You can also pass only one parameter and than it will
be used for both.
You can pass all optional third parameter - percentage pase. This feature
is improvement of tables with percentage width specification resizing.
You can define value of 0 for percentage base or simply not pass third
parameter to get default behaviour. Any other positive value you pass
will be used as percentage base. So tables with the same width as
percentage base is will be resized to new width (param 2) if table width
will exceed maximum width (param 1). If table width differs from
percentage base, it will be resized accordingly.
Version history:

* Since version 0.3 (released 04-Sep-2002) you can use percentage base as
optional third parameter.
