In this article, we'll scroll through the steps to
set up Intuit data protect in QuickBooks

To set up the IDP, you must complete the following steps:
• In the inception, open QuickBooks on your PC or server where the QuickBooks company file is stored.
• Next, head to the 'backup company' from the 'File' menu and set up or activate the online backup.
• Now, sign in using the same email address and password you used to register. If you can't remember your password, use the intuit password reset tool. The IDP login, on the other hand, is a little different.
• When the setup is finished, click 'next.'
• Choose 'Continue' after selecting the QuickBooks company file. Select the folder you want to back up and choose 'Continue.'
• After that, opt for the option to back up local selected files and then hit on 'Next.'
• Pick the files and folders to backup.
• Then choose the 'Proceed' option.
• Plan the daily backup, and then select the 'Continue' button once again.
• To conclude the process, ensure the notification settings are configured and click on 'Next.'
