Description
This gallery is based on Apache::Gallery, but is hacked for usage with Perl FastCGI scripts. Therefore this version is about 10x quicker (with cache turned on) than Apache::Gallery. With the best template toolkit you can customize your gallery as you wish, for example you can create multilanguage gallery. |

Release 0.2 of fastcgi-gallery is a performance optimalization release. You should try it. Thumbnails are now downloaded directly from disk cache, not via FastCGI script. Some documentation has been also updated. |

This is the first release of quick and powerful web gallery. Gallery is written in Perl, HTML code is generated by template system Template-Toolkit. Database is not used, everything is stored in files. Output and generated thumbnails are cached for speed optimalization. |
