hi, i have two tables, both are related to each other with a N<>N relation, meaning a Many to Many association (TableA and Table B).
Now, i created the TableC, which is supposed to hold the two keys (tableA_id & tableB_id), but how do i create / get some dropdowns / selectoptions working? do i need to hack that manually?
thx

phpMyEdit does not work with tables using two columns to create the unique key.

ok, so whats the best approach here? i could drop the auto_id in the join table and just store both of the foreign_keys. but how would i reflect that and include as selection-options in phpmyedit?
thx

I can't tell exactly how you inted to use your tables. With phpMyEdit you will have to insert new records in tblA, tblB and tbleC on their own (i.e. I don't know how you can use it to add linked records to more than one table at the same time).

If the records can be inserted into tblA and B independently then joined afterwards by inserting records in to tblC you can do this with the standard dropdown.
