First time with phpMyEdit. I like the form it output but I don't want to link to the whole table.

Can I make a link in an separate html file that will link to my form but also run a filter (in this case the "name" field) so that only that entry comes up for the user?

Thanks!

I've done more research. Basically, I want something like this:

http://url.com/blah/my_form.php?qf2=clientname

Which should bring up only the row that has this name.

The form doesn't seem to do anything with this information though. Is there something I can do about this?

the 'clientname' should be passed with something different, not cgi (a $_SESSION variable preferably, anybody can change cgi variable).

then use (['cgi']['persist'] if passed through cgi) and ['filters'].
