Is it possible to create a printer friendly button along side the next/previous buttons. I would like to be able to print the table without the icons/button on the left side or the search/filter buttons. Just the table with my data. I love your app. It is great. Thank you for your help.

2 hints (to be quick):
1/ You use different css files, depending of a GET variable.

For example, you may use a screen.css and a print.css

Refer to PME CSS handling (or open the generated HTML) to know which css styles have to be modified in order to hide buttons in the printer-friendly version.

Add a link in the 'screen' page to go to the 'print' page.

2/You use different PME options, depending of a GET variable.

This should work also :

In your PME script, before the fields definitions,
make an include of a script containing this :

Code:

<?php
if ($pf == 1) {    //meaning 'p(rinter) f(riendly)
    $opts['cgi']['append']['fl'] = 0;  // no request fields
    $opts['inc'] = -1; // to display all records
    $opts['options'] = ''; // no action buttons
    $opts['navigation'] = ''; // no navigation buttons on the top
    $opts['display'] = array(
   'query' => false,
   'sort'  => false,
   'time'  => false
);}
?>

If you want the printer friendly display,
enter the address of your PME script, plus the 'pf' variable :

http://my_domaine/phpMyEdit/my_script.php?pf=1

All the navigation settings defined in your PME script will be replaced.

There must be a cleaner way to do it, but for me it works.

Ciao.

PS : there is no way to hide the navigation buttons at the buttom of the list (default buttons), unless you modify the phpMyEditClass.
