I would like to change the value of a field in the INSERT BEFORE trigger. I can view the contents of the entries in $newvals, but if I change a value in $newvals this change is not posted to the DB.

Example:
Quote:

$newvals[codapp]=$my_cod;

Any suggestions?
Thanks

( I use phpmyedit 1.71 2003/04/07 )

The tip not work for me.
I've in my php file this field:
$opts['fdd']['codapp']

I would like to change the value of the field 'codapp' in the INSERT BEFORE trigger.
I tried with "$newvals[codapp]=$my_cod;" but not work.
I tried with "$opts['cgi']['overwrite']['codapp'] = $my_cod;" but not work.
The changes are not posted to the DB.

Any suggestions?
Thanks
