Hi,
is there a possibility to turn the last shown word in the cell (after applying-> trimlen = 30;) into a link to a popup window with the rest of the content?

Consider, instead, locating

inside
| Code: |
| function list_table() |
and adding
to the A HREF tag.
This will pop up the same form and selected record in view mode (which might be easier than messing around with Javascript popups and creating a custom link via virtual field). This assumes trimlen is set for only List and Filter modes, e.g.

| 'trimlen|FL' => 50, |
