Is there any documentation that explains how to create custom operations and add the associated buttons in the navigation bar ?

If not, can someone explain this or give an example.

The code is a pain and if there is no facility to do it, applications will be difficult to maintain as soon as a new version is released

Thanks for your help

This is currently not possible (if we do not consider extension creation case), however such feature is certainlly planned for future.

Exactly. I would call this feature 'plug-in' ;-)
