we have multiple users logged in and using PME simultaniously. When one user adds a record no one else sees it until they refresh. Is there a way to set PME up so that as soon as the mysql table changes all users get the update? In other words if I add a record to the mysql table I would want anyone else who is logged on to see the new row so they know that it has been added.

Be careful here as PME does not support transactions, so if you have multiple users editing the same record, you have the potential to end up with inconsistencies.
PME does not have the ability to notice changes.
Actually, there's probably a whole load of work that could be done to make PME transaction safe.

I have built in safeties for that. we use a form to input data into the table. the first field is a numeric value which is unique and must be for our system. therefore I made that field the key and made it unique in my database. we never end up with the same data entered twice however it sometimes takes an individule several minutes or even a day or two (depending on the person) to realize that their information never got entered due to the security.
