I would like to use phpMyEdit for master(list view)->master(edit view) and master(list/edit view) ->detail(list view)

With intelligent use of frames, iframes and javascript, think this can be easily achieved with phpMyEdit.

From my initial understanding of phpMyEdit there are 2 areas to cover.

1. The code for generating a table's form with a filter on the record(s) required - list(linked detail records),view,edit,copy,delete(master/detail linked records).

2. Adapt or add additional links when the View, Change, Delete links are being generated during the record output. This can be Javascript events or links to the server to bring up the detail records view after scrolling or clicking on the relevant row.

3. Stripping or bypassing the code that changes the view back to the calling form once the action is effected.

Where are the classes and methods that cover these areas?

I know it may not be everyone's cup of tea but pointed to the right areas in the source, I can go along way to achieving this in my own code and contribute it back to the group.

I also suspect that somewhere in the forum the answers that would help go a long way have already been answered

Regards

Richard
