I don't know about that patch but I think it would be a fine idea to release the actual code as 5.5
It happended that I searched some bugs in 5.4 yesterday for more than an hour until I noticed that they are gone in the actual cvs version.
The core in 5.4 is 1.121 and in CVS is 1.167. What do you think?
Thanks,
Jochen

I think that it's a good idea to release the actual
code to 5.5, included the patch multijoin.

I would love to see the CVS version released with the changes made in the thread Fedora Core 4 issues. Specifically, no short-circuiting and use of $_GET and $_POST instead of the old way of doing it. However, I can always modify the offending lines of code. This wouldn't take a terribly long time.
The bug 337 that I submitted is beginning to get referenced. Hopefully something is done about it. The solutions are all within the Fedora Core 4 issues thread.
The problem as I see it is that there are new people who are picking up phpMyEdit for the first time on their new Fedora Core 4 box and it just doesn't work properly. They are not going to spend the time figuring out what is wrong. It will be just another broken piece of software out there.
I learned PHP because of phpMyEdit. I did it on a Fedora Core 2 and 3 box. One year later I would have just walked away from it.
