phpMyEdit General     Concatenating values from remote table

I am trying to get the values from 2 fields as the description for a select. I tried this but that doesn't work.

Code:
$opts['fdd']['programme']['values']['table']       = 'programmes';
$opts['fdd']['programme']['values']['column']      = 'id';
$opts['fdd']['programme']['values']['description'] = 'CONCAT(numero,titre)';


How should I proceed?
