Hi,
I am looking to obtain data that has been displayed in the record prior to a trigger script being run, but can only seem to locate the $this->rec value. If as part of the record a field of 'Name' had also been displayed, (but was not part of oldrecs/newrecs) is there anyway that I can obtain it as a variable without executing another SELECT statement on the record id?

prior to a before trigger ?
in before trigger, there is already $oldrec (which is obtained by a select from db).
