I get a
MySQL error 1054
Unknown column 'PMEtable0.join_to_Email' in 'on clause'
when trying to join. I have done a join before on another table and it worked fine. Been using phpmyedit for a couple years with great results.

'input' => 'VR',
'options' => '',
'values' => Array(
'table' => 'EmailPermanentList', //joined table
'column' => 'EmailPermanentId', //the joined key

you have no field 'join_to_Email' ?
then you need some option like
'sql'=>'id'
