When I use a lookup like this:
| Code: |
'values' => array(
'table'=>'gender',
'column'=>'Gender_Code',
'description'=>'Gender_Desc') |
for my main table form
then for the list I get multiple display of same record of the main table. This is because of the join that it creates I believe. Can anyone suggest a solution.

I do believe there must be some problem with your primary key identifier.
phpMyEdit can handle only tables with proper primary key.
Maybe your table definition is missing primary key, or phpMyEdit is not aware about this primary key.
Please post your table definition and $fdd definition from your calling script.

Perhaps you need to reference the unique identifier in the lookup table.
| Code: |
$opts['fdd']['your_field_name'] = array(
'default' => '',
'input' => '',
'name' => 'Gender',
'options' => 'ACPVDFL',
'values' => array(
'table' => 'gender',
'column' => 'id_column_in_gender',
'description'=> array(
'columns' => array('0' => 'Gender_Desc'),
)
)
); |
