KLM's versatile cancellation policy helps you make improvements to your travel booking by paying cancellation fees to KLM only in certain circumstances. With the help of KLM's 24-hour cancellation facility, you will make three reservation upgrades within 24 hours and therefore no additional charges will be payable. According to KLM AIlines Cancellation Policy If upgrades were made to the higher air ticket price, KLM's cancellation fees will be taxable. The remaining balance will not be refunded if you choose a lower fare aircraft after implementing the adjustments.
