I am in the process of setting up a small database for home use for maintaining books of accounts. I use PME to enter the basic data and now I propose to create an extension which will use the following inputs: Business name, Date Range and Currency to Generate the following books:
Cash Book
Balance Sheet
P&L
Bank Account
Opening Balance will be totalled using all records less than From Date.
Any ideas/suggestions are welcome and I would be happy to share this with anyone who would like to have a copy once completed. I am a complete newbie where PHP and MySQL is concerned!
