I have defined certain fields using drop down boxes, eg. $opts['fdd']['PROBABILITYWIN'] = array(
'name' => 'PROBABILITYWIN',
'select' => 'D',
'maxlen' => 2,
'sort' => true
);

I have also specified the allowable field values, eg.
$opts['fdd']['PROBABILITYWIN']['values'] = array('100','75','50','25');

When editing using the "Change" option, the drop down box shows the first entry in the list (100)rather than any existing table value, say 25.

How can I get it to default to the existing database value once the record has been created?

you have 'values' set. if the value in the field is not in values, the first value is showed. so if you have value 24, 100 is showed when editing.
