I have a small problem, in joining field 'l_pre' to 'lner#',
It works but when it is presented on screen
0 + 28 come out as '0 28' what I want is '028'
How do I get rid of the space please

#
$opts['fdd']['l_pre'] = array(
'default' => '',
'help|ACP' => 'Limit 1 characters',
'input' => '',
'maxlen' => 1,
'name' => 'PRE',
'select' => 'T',
'options' => 'DAC',
'size' => 1,
'sort' => false,
'sql|LFV'=>"concat(l_pre,'',lner#)"
);

$opts['fdd']['lner#'] = array(
'default' => '',
'help|ACP' => 'Limit 5 digits',
'input' => '',
'maxlen' => 5,
'name' => 'LNER#',
'select' => 'T',
'options' => 'LAC',
'size' => 5,
'sort' => true
);

Maybe remove '',

Maybe trim() each field name
