Patients are only permitted to consume water when using Invisalign aligners. This is so that the aligners don't become stained or bent by hot beverages like coffee and tea. Additionally, juice and soda may seep into the little gap between your teeth and the aligners, which is why you should avoid drinking sugary beverages. Cavities or dental decay may result from this.
