I was first a bit skeptical when I was requested to post reviews for this website. As an adult gamer, I'm now going through a period in which I'm not only anticipating playing newer games on my gaming rig and next-generation consoles, but I'm also thinking back on previous games that I could have missed. I grew up playing games on Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, and maybe other systems as well. But even the most obscure platform has at least one must-play game on it, and each of those consoles had enormous game libraries (

). The majority of younger players may disregard these classic games because "the visuals are terrible" or "it's so ancient!" They are unaware that my consoles will one day be seen as just as antiquated by the next generation as the Playstations and Xboxes of today. They are unaware that certain video games are masterpieces that stand the test of time; a work of art from yesterday is still a work of art today. The existence of Photoshop does not justify the destruction of the Mona Lisa.
