Founded in 1998, Metropol FM is the brainchild of the venerable Media Union. https://internetradiohoren.de/popmusik/radio-metropol-fm/ It was the first radio station in Germany to feature Arabic music, and has won over 70 percent of the listenership since its inception. It is also the only station that offers a 24 hour program for the Berlin metropolitan area. The most popular genres include pop and classical music. Despite its modest stature, the company boasts an impressive list of accolades, from an honorable mention in the latest German Broadcasters' Association competition to being a finalist for the prestigious Deutscher Prize of the German Radio and Television Academy. Its motto is to bring the best of Turkish culture to the heart of Europe.
As far as media goes, Metropol FM is a multi-media powerhouse with a full-service advertising agency and a robust web presence. In the words of the chief exec, the company has "advanced technologies that enable us to achieve our goals, from a high quality broadcast to an interactive Internet platform and effective communication with our subscribers". As part of our strategy, we have established relationships with some of the most influential media and entertainment companies in Turkey. Among the many benefits of this partnership is a dedicated sales team that is able to amplify our reach and make sure our content is in front of the right people at the right time.
