I have this really old red cement floor. Do I need to completely remove the red coloring and expose the concrete? Or do I just need to sand and roughen up the surface before priming? I'm not sure what the actual material it is made of but it's powdery red when sanded epoxy flooring toronto . I'm planning on applying 1 coat of epoxy primer and 2-3 coats ofa water-based epoxy.
